Dots is part of JuanCarlos' Particles Series. The story behind this theme follows and connects with his iconic Flor Del Sol series, in which when the protagonist, Flor, dies, it disintegrates into Particles, which float away into the Cosmos, to be reborn on a different Star...These particles are not visible to a naked eye, they can only be seen through a microscope lens.
This piece has a beautiful mix of colors; the flow between the oil and the acrylic paint dances on the canvas with bold abstraction. The whimsical sway of the background with the foreground makes this painting come to life, with the yellow dots playfully peeking through the layers.
