SNEAK PEAK
...While the unnatural, forgotten, exploited and destroyed parts of Earth fade away
just as Flor’s body follows suit and dissipates.
Her disintegration happens simultaneously with the cityscapes of this series event,
I suppose that it all might be the result of a technological singularity,
or perhaps an atomic tragedy, that is, if of course, Mother Nature’s impending deluge
remains latent still, in which case if that were to happen instead,
then water would vessel the remains of all,
and the particles would float off with the subsequent evaporate.
My body feels cold, my heart giving in, the rhythm of time was too strong,
and my mind’s eye is a scar that runs through into my soul.
I wanted to stay, I wanted to win, I wanted for them to change,
to no avail. Puddles of tears inundated my roots through time,
my defeat smells its victory and rejoices as if it’s not a negative extension of me.
My weakened spirit finds one last fragment of strength,
for there is the one question that remained clinging within - what does that mean?
Why Natural Selection? I push my way into the initial dream-like state near death
and set to find this bee who surely said these words to me…
